Kedai Jontor

Pentol is a type of food that is similar to meatballs (bakso) but with a smaller shape. The way to make this pentol is the same as how to make meatballs. What is quite different is the ingredients, such as the selection of meat for pentol is chicken while meatballs use beef.

The first time I tasted pentol was when I was working in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Almost every day I eat pentol there. Pentol is a food that is commonly found in Kalimantan with a wide variety of these foods.

There you can enjoy a variety of snacks such as boiled pentol, fried pentol, tofu pentol, and others. You can eat a lot of pentol first before paying for it.

Now, I no longer need to look for a pentol, no longer need to go to Kalimantan. That's not necessary! Because I can eat it right away at home. Because together with my sister, we made a very tasty and delicious pentol jontor.

Apart from the pentol, I also took part in preparing the seblak. Seblak itself is a typical Indonesian food that has a spicy and savory taste from boiled crackers, vegetables, eggs, and various other toppings.

My older sister now sells pentol jontor and seblak at home. We call it Kedai Jontor.
