Sleep in the Morning and Strength of the Heart

The cold night is so imperceptible. Time is rolling fast, eaten greedily by my insomnia. My tired brain can't make these eye muscles sleep long. Only floating in the midst of uncertainty. Pseudo-images entertain the mind with false dreams. Snaking imagination creates new and new stories.

The interval finally changed, these faint eyes opened looking at the ceiling. Thinking, looking around the room, then this hand fingering something. My smartphone is handheld, I open my favorite Google Chrome application, I see the last tab is not closed yet. Entertainment watching in this browser accompany me until the rooster crows singing.

That lost precious time sometimes makes me regret it. I wish I could sleep regularly, but I don't think I can. This habit seems ingrained. Well, even though it's not everyday I know that staying up late until morning is not good.

This acute illness is the main reason why I always eat at night. Staying up in the middle of the night requires more energy intake. Nine and ten o'clock in the evening is the right time to fill this energy. Besides, if my stomach is hungry, it makes it worse that I can't sleep.

Keep in mind, and this is very important, don't starve yourself because it is very dangerous. If you are forced to be unable to sleep until sunrise, make sure your stomach is filled up before going to bed in the morning. When we fall asleep, hunger will sink in the dream cradle. Your sleeping imagination will block your groaning stomach. That's why filling your stomach before bed is important.

It's quite ironic when we realize that the brain doesn't always control the physical. However, a human without a brain would not be able to use his physique properly. Apart from these two things, there is something more beyond logic, namely the heart. Some people believe that the heart is capable of moving something that the brain and the physical cannot move.

Is insomnia a result of the strength of the heart? Ahh maybe my imagination is too high. But wait a minute, if you stay up late because of something fun, isn't your heart happy too. Nah, maybe it's one of the strength of the heart too.

Although the heart is an illogical locomotion, it is also something fragile. So, take care of your heart well yes!

  1. I found this post very interesting, my friend. I, too, have been suffering from insomnia for some time now. And, like you, when I am unable to sleep, my mind is often filled with disturbing thoughts and images. I guess it is a vicious circle... sleeplessness, worrying, physical symptoms...then more sleeplessness!
    Yes, maybe a peaceful heart is the answer...but I am a habitual worryier!! 😉

  2. Banyak berfikir juga bikin susah tidur. Kalau brain hyper pun susah tidur asyik ingat pelbagai benda mau langsaikan.
    Tidur memang keperluan wajib untuk kesihatan.
    Gadget zaman sekarang ni kekadang membuat kita terlupa masa yang untuk waktu tidur.
    Senaman mungkin boleh bantu untuk kasi betul rutin tidur.

    2. Makan tengah mlm katanya bikin sakit liver, tapi saya bingung, setauku lewat jam 1 mlm itu sudah dihitung sebagai pagi 🤣🤣🤣

  7. Kenapa bisa insomnia? Banyak pikiran kali..
    Kalau main ponsel malah tambah nggak bisa tidur..
    Makan sebelum tidur sebenarnya kurang baik bagi kesehatan. Lebih baik dikasih jarak makan 2-3 jam sebelum tidur.
    Olah raga ringan juga bisa membuat badan rileks dan mungkin bisa mengatasi insomnia.
    Memang pikiran harus tenang dan rileks, hati juga harus tenang.
    Sholat, dan dzikir juga bisa menenangkan hati dan pikiran .
    Semoga insomnia nya cepat sembuh..

  8. Saya juga heran, di usia saya yang sudah tidak muda lagi, saya masih suka begadang, menekuni hobi, mengutak-atik blog kadang sampai jam 2-3 pagi. Tapi ini menyenangkan. Apakah ini berdampak buruk buat kesehatan? Saya belum mencari tahu awabannya.

  12. Mas, udah nikah?? Dulu sebelum nikah saya insomnia krn kebiasa kuliah malam, eh, nikah sama suami yg jam 9 sudah tidur, Jd Keikut sampai skrg Alhamdulillah.

    kalau insomnya ada yang bisa dikerjain dengan hati seneng kayaknya sekali kali ga pa apa deh, tapi abis itu pembalasan dendam tidurnya agak lama biasanya pas siangnya

  14. Kalau aku sih begadang sampai pagi sering banget bahkan sdh jadi kebiasaan maklum selain jomblo juga pengangguran.

    Bagiku insomnia ini selain faktor penyakit tapi juga faktor lain, ya salah satunya faktor kecerdasaan, org2 cerdas rata2 sulit tidur.

    Lady Gaga penyanyi Amrik hampir 3 hari gk pernah tidur sibuk nyiptain lagu dan konser dan pernah tertidur dipanggung.

    Tom Cruise sutradara sekaligus aktor Amrik, jago bikin cerita film dan pernah tidak tidur 3 hari juga dan tertidur di mobil.

    Intan Sudibjo, blogger senior dan pernah tertidur di pohon 🤣🤣🤣🏃‍♂️

  15. Kalo saya jarang sekali begadang, jam 12 sudah harus tidur biarpun misalnya lagi nulis cerpen.

    Tapi kalo tidur sambil perut lapar memang ngga enak, biasanya sih aku makan roti biar tidak terlalu lapar.

  16. I don't know much about insomnia. I mean is this really a real thing, or is it just a made up illness so we have an excuse to stay late in the night haha
    Things that make me stay longer in the night are when there are something to do that requires my brain to overthink, and staring a device screen (according to experts, blue ray from the screen makes us stay longer in the night). But for the most of day, I try my best to get enough sleep (I have to go to gym in the morning and I don't want to be like a zombie in the day LMAO)

  17. kang HB diproduksi mulai pukul 11 malam jadi kalau sering begadang nanti hb rendah jadi keliyengan emang sih klu masih dibwah 40 nggak terasa

  18. Dulu aku sering nggak bisa tidur mas cuma pas ada yang ngelonin setiap jam 8 atau jam 9 malam bawaannya ngantuk terus...Terkadang nulis artikel blog suka nggak selesai karena ketiduran..🤣🤣🤣

  19. no joke but sometimes overthinking tu boleh jadi punca izzati tak boleh tidur. I can't have a good sleep at night. Rindu nikmat peace of mind tu. Peace of mind really important for us.

    Sungguh ironis ketika kita menyadari bahwa otak tidak selalu mengontrol fisik. Namun, manusia tanpa otak tidak akan bisa menggunakan fisiknya dengan baik. Terlepas dari kedua hal tersebut, ada sesuatu yang lebih di luar logika, yaitu hati

    Mas Intan, ini ga bercanda. Serius nanya. Mas Intan suka baca buku atau suka diskusi sama orang, kalau jawabannya suka baca bisasnya buku apa yang dibaca?

    1. saya sudah suka membaca buku sejak smp, terakhir membaca pas smk kelas 1. saya sudah lupa judul bukunya, karena itu buku di perpustakaan sekolah. namun aku pernah baca beberapa novel yang ga sengaja aku temuin di rumah, novel wiro sableng :D

  21. Saya sering banget makan malem.. Jam 10 jam 11.. wkwkwk makan berat lagi... terus lanjut tidur, bangun pagiii, terus tidur lagi... Tapi itu berlaku kalau hari libur.. Kalau lagi shift malam.. Otaknya lebih stress dari biasanya karena jam tidur berantakan..
