The Black Crow Chapter 6: The Fastest Swordsman

Fog forest

Back to The Black Crow Chapter 5: The Brother's Revenge

An old man ran very fast in the middle of a forest full of fog. The tree's spreading roots, lush branches, and tall groves did not in the least reduce the person's movement. His agile feet were like apes swinging from tree to tree, his speed was like a tiger chasing prey. The jungle he passed easily.

Lang opened his eyes slowly, aware of himself being carried away by someone. But his weak body couldn't move even if it was just one finger. "Ge .. grandpa" he said as he fell asleep. The person who was called grandfather only smiled faintly. The old man returned to focus on running like he was without a burden even though he was carrying a human body.

From afar, someone was following them. His movements were no less fast than the grandfather and slowly getting closer. "You caught up with me." said the old man with a smile.

Not long after that they stopped running.

The gray-haired grandfather then leaned Lang to the big tree. The crow boy tried to open his eyes which felt heavy. "Grandpa, why are you helping me ..?" Lang asked in a low voice. "Aren't you a grudge against the Black Crow clan."

The grandfather turned to the person who managed to follow him, "Cira was worried about you, he followed you to the village, I was looking for him, so lucky I arrived on time." replied the old man. "Besides, I never felt a grudge against your family."

"That guy can find us, we'd better go further, he's strong enough, you'll be in trouble." said the dying young man. "You mean Alasuta? A weak swordsman like him will never be able to catch up with me even after 100 years of training." said the grandfather who made Lang surprised.

"We have cut a forest!" continued the old man who made the little crow startled.

The grandfather then told Cira to look for medicines around. The 9 year old boy nodded hurriedly doing his grandfather's orders.

"You think I'm just a weak old man who can only raise small children." said the grandfather. "I told you before, that I was a former swordsman. More precisely, the fastest swordsman in the Valley Kingdom."

Lang who heard it was like being stung by a bee, "What did you say?" he said in disbelief. "Yes, I am the fastest person in this kingdom. Maybe only one person can keep up with my speed." said the old man proudly.

The man who is 70 years old tells the story of his youth. In his time he was known as the Gray Swordsman because of his hair. He has the name Aranpana but is better known as the fastest swordsman. The owner of the Step of Light style, therefore some people call him the Gray Light Swordsman.

With his Light Steps, he is able to move quickly both for running and in battle. As the name, it is like a light capable of moving very fast. "With that move I can easily get behind the opponent without them knowing." said Grandpa Gray.

After a few minutes.

Aranpana looked at the face of the young crow he was lecturing on. His face was sad, harboring regret. "I know you want to take revenge, but with your current abilities it is absolutely impossible to win even if your opponent is just a weak swordsman like Alasuta." explained the old man.

"Therefore, I will train you, I will teach you the Step of Light technique." said the grandfather with a small smile towards Cira who had just arrived. His grandson replied with a big smile.
